The ancient Egyptians consumed Lotus soaked in wine to enjoy the flower's mood enhancing properties. Modern science has discovered that these effects result from positively mood affecting alkaloids unique to the plant. Active alkaloids in Blue Lotus are alcohol soluble but not water soluble, so historically Lotus has been soaked in wine and then consumed for effects. (Note! Not impressed with the 50;1. I dont know if i didny use enough but i only got 5 grams and i felt nothing.
I might need a higher dose to get any affect because i take kratom

After thinking my package was lost in the mail, it turned up! This combo pack was one of the things I ordered.

The stamens are fully viable and full of those wonderful pollens, and the flowers are the same. These seemingly were freshly packed the moment they reached their perfect dryness, and not a second too early or too late.

The extract... ahh the extract. A serving immediately went into tea. I don't know what reasons other people use blue lotus, but I use it for occasional minor pain; specifically I use it for the stress from the minor pain. Once this kicks in, it's very subtle but the stress lessens and I can go about my business with a little less pain and worry. (Posted on 10/15/2016)
