Lemon Lotus is a delicious powdered instant 'Mood Drink' containing mood enhancing Blue Lotus extract. The ancient Egyptians consumed Lotus flowers soaked in wine to enjoy the flower's mood enhancing properties. Modern science has discovered that these effects result from positively mood affecting alkaloids unique to the plant. Active alkaloids in Blue Lotus are alcohol soluble but not water soluble, so historically Lotus has been soaked in wine and then consumed for effects (Note! The Lemon Lotus is a wonderful product. Absolutely delicious, it's like drinking a glass of sweet lemonade with an ever so slight hint of the x50 Blue Lotus extract flavor (which I also love).

Overall, I really love this product and will definitely buy more as needed. Was shipped and arrived very quickly and Mood & Mind have always been more than happy to answer any questions I have about their products.
