Lemon Lotus is a delicious powdered instant 'Mood Drink' containing mood enhancing Blue Lotus extract. The ancient Egyptians consumed Lotus flowers soaked in wine to enjoy the flower's mood enhancing properties. Modern science has discovered that these effects result from positively mood affecting alkaloids unique to the plant. Active alkaloids in Blue Lotus are alcohol soluble but not water soluble, so historically Lotus has been soaked in wine and then consumed for effects (Note! As somebody who uses blue lotus regularly, this product is wonderful and saves a ton of prep time.
Instead of spending time putting powder into capsules, making tea or steeping it in alcohol, taking it as a powdered drink is quick and easy. It tastes great and the effects of the blue lotus are just as strong as if you were using the powdered type. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the effects of blue lotus.
