Maca Root (Lepidium meyenii) was sacred to the Inca culture, and is native only to the mountains of Peru. I was a little skeptical when I first saw the small size of the bag... But after mixing the maca powder in with yogurt I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be purchasing more very soon.
