The ancient Egyptians consumed Lotus flowers soaked in wine as a sacred method
of connecting with 'The Divine'. Depictions of the Lotus flower and Lotus consumption
is so prominent in their artwork that it leaves no doubt as to its importance
to their culture.
We know now that the blissful, connected state of mind from Lotus is a result
of positively mood affecting alkaloids unique to the plant. Lotus has also been
used safely for hundreds of years in Eastern herbal medicine, and is recognized
as a symbol of the Buddhist religion.
Suggested Use:
1/4 teaspoon dissolved in tea or other hot beverage
(dissolves easily). Can also be encapsulated by hand or using our Cap M Quik and
capsules (shown below).
